Books concerning the Black culture: truly Black Memorabilia

 

Among all Black memorabilia the books on Black culture or by African-Americans from the Black culture, are the most enlightening. Although rarely called Black "Memorabilia", they certainly are! Some of the African-American culture books in this section show the attitude of times that are (hopefully!) past, like the "Little black Sambo" stuff. Others are, although old, quite decent and serious: every now and then some good Black American cookery books show up. Copies of "Ebony magazine", although not literally "books", are frequently offered, giving us insights in some important recent Black history. So let's generously include Black magazines among the Black books, in this section. Good stuff comes up for sale here, and you never know when or what!
