African collectables, from prehistoric flints to airport art
The range of African collectables or collectable tribal art and artefacts is enormous. It sets out with prehistoric flints like arrow points, axes and other tools, and travels all the way up (or down?) to what's often called "airport art". Considering that humankinds history in Africa is the longest in the world, it's not surprising that so many collectable objects are available from so many historic and prehistoric time periods. The navigation links to the left let you enter into the whole range, and don't be too quick to completely discard the "airport art" without at least having a good look at it. Not only are some pieces well-made and quite worth collecting, but also every now and then a truly antique piece manages to find its mysterious way into this section. And, of course, the range of available items changes very frequently - you don't want to miss out on something just because you weren't around at the right time.
